One painted mech per force now. I settled for Beta Battalion from the Wolf's Dragoons. Needs numbers and some unit markings still.

Madi nearly jumped for joy as she made her Mech selections. Three full lances!

She has also selected the 1st Regulan Hussars to be her chosen force!

I have also chosen a force though I have been less commited with what I will run. I would like to do either Kell hounds, Crescent Hawks or Beta Regiment from the Dragoons.

Infinity

Also going to be trying out Infinity! got a small squad on some of our old D6 Hobbies bases primed up and will start working on these soon too!

Now that my paint brushes are out I intend to put some paint down on my Dystopian Wars collection as well.

And so it starts....

Tonight my daughter has re-inspired me to mess around with my miniatures again. I fired up camospecs.com and let her troll through all the battlemechs she could find. She has chosen the Hussars paint scheme as shown here:

So I am attempting to recreate it for her with my very limited painting skills. She is happy as can be. I need to finish off the poor things backpack but otherwise, she may begin her obsession with Battletech.

I've found that using battletech as a math excercise and hardwriting practice has been not only rewarding but a metric ton-o-fun!
